It was 2018 when I first heard of the brass/rock fusion ensemble known as Brass Against. I remember thinking to myself, “Is this real? Has someone managed to combine my two favorite styles of music into one band?… While also playing covers of my all-time favorite band, Rage Against the Machine?” Thanks to founder Brad Hammonds, the answers to those questions was a head-banging yes!. In a time when activism is needed most, bands like Brass Against give us an outlet to gather, unify, and channel our rage through iconic covers and powerful originals.
The southeast tour features Liza Colby and Michael Cunio on vocals and a full set of brass, guitar, and proper anarchy to round out the sound.
