Nordista Freeze established Space Prom in Nashville in 2018 with the mission to reclaim prom for everyone.

To maintain his claim on the throne, the mad king Freeze must plot increasingly extravagant schemes for the annual concert. Hailed by critics as “the greatest event on earth” and “the most significant experience of my life,” the stylized 80s rock review layers a powerhouse band with ravishing guest vocal performances from near and far.

And for a moment, it’s as though the decorations on the walls of the venue evaporate the walls themselves, as though the costumes of the crowd uniform it. Taken all together in a collision of passage and presence, visions emerge, and the mission succeeds anew. It is yet unclear what twisted machinations Nordista Freeze intends for the upcoming January event, but a source close to Freeze stated “However this turns out…[Freeze] can’t come back from this one.”

Acclaimed singer, songwriter, and musician Marc Broussard is an artist with a unique gift of channeling the spirits of classic R&B, rock, and soul into contemporary terms. The son of Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist Ted Broussard of “The Boogie Kings,” he nurtured his musical gifts at an early age in the vibrant Lafayette, Louisiana music scene. After releasing a highly successful independent EP at age 20, Broussard made his major-label debut with Carencro. The album featured the breakout hit single “Home” and catapulted him into the national spotlight. The Louisiana-born and raised artist has created a wide range of music in his career. Carencro laid the groundwork with unequaled style, illustrating his knack for modern soul music and setting the stage for his long and distinguished career. Papadosio is a five member band from Athens, Ohio. The band members are: Anthony Thogmartin on guitar, keys, vocals; Billy Brouse on keys and vocals; Mike Healy on drums; and Rob McConnell on bass, vocals and a recent new addition of Sam Brouse on keys and vocals as well.

While they are most often classified as a jam band, their music spans many genres and it all has an original edge. Papadosio is a one of a kind, earthy, livetronica act. They are very much in favor the evolution of humanity, in terms of love for one another and this earth, and this all shines through in their music. They have some funky basslines and awesome audio engineering my thogmartin and brouse. In combination, their sound definitely gets people moving and stirs some souls

The Melvins are one of modern music’s most influential bands. Having formed in 1983 Montesano, Washington, the group – founded by vocalist/guitarist Buzz Osborne, with drummer Dale Crover joining a year later – has been credited with merging the worlds of punk rock and heavy music, forming a new subgenre all their own. Over their 40-plus-year career, they’ve released more than 30 original albums, numerous live records, and far too many to count singles and rarities. Recent releases include 2024’s Tarantula Heart, a really good collection of what the Melvins do, what they can do and what they want to do, and Five Legged Dog (2021), an ambitious 36-track acoustic collection that reimagines their heaviest songs alongside covers of their favorite artists. Throughout their discography, the Melvins have collaborated with Jello Biafra, Mudhoney, and Fantômas for individual releases and toured the world many times over. Remarkably, they had the misfortune to be in both Christchurch and Tokyo for their 2011 earthquakes. In 2012, the Melvins completed the “51 States in 51 Days” (50 states +DC) tour, which was chronicled in the film “Across The USA in 51 Days.” The current incarnation of the band is Osborne, Crover, and Steven McDonald (Redd Kross). Previous line-ups included a pairing of Osborne and Crover with Jared Warren and Coady Willis of Big Business, a four-piece featuring the current trio plus Butthole Surfers’ Jeff Pinkus, as well as Melvins Lite, which partners Osborne and Crover with Mr. Bungle’s Trevor Dunn. Sometimes, if you’re extra lucky, one version of the Melvins will open for the Melvins. (this is a standing event)
