The band comprises Jack Underkofler on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jack Collins on lead guitar, Dylan Brenner on bass, and Will Goodroad on drums. Each member brings a unique element to their sound, contributing to the high-energy performances and layered instrumentals that have become their signature.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Underkofler developed an early passion for music, which led him to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, he met his future bandmates, and they bonded over a shared love for genre-blending rock. Underkofler's distinctive voice, known for its powerful range and raw emotion, became a defining feature of Dead Poet Society's sound. He channels influences from alternative rock, hard rock, and progressive rock into his vocal style, which complements the band's dark, riff-driven music.
As the frontman, Underkofler writes introspective lyrics that often explore themes of mental health, personal growth, and resilience, resonating with the band's growing fanbase.
Originally from Maine, Collins developed a passion for music early on, honing his guitar skills with an experimental edge that would later become integral to the band’s unique sound. He met his bandmates while studying at Berklee College of Music, where they quickly recognized a shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of rock music.
Collins' guitar style is marked by complex effects, unconventional tunings, and heavy, riff-driven playing, all of which contribute to Dead Poet Society’s intense, layered sound. His creativity and technical skill have helped the band carve out a unique space in modern rock.
Having joined the band to replace original bassist Nick Taylor. Brenner brought a fresh energy to the group, enhancing their distinctive blend of alternative, hard, and progressive rock.
Since joining, Brenner has contributed to live performances and recording sessions, helping the band maintain and evolve its dynamic, layered style that resonates strongly with fans. His presence solidifies Dead Poet Society’s rhythm section, supporting the group’s high-energy performances and introspective musical explorations.
Originally from Minnesota, Goodroad joined the band during their formative years at Berklee College of Music, where he met his future bandmates. His drumming is marked by precision, versatility, and an ability to adapt to the band's experimental soundscapes.
Goodroad’s playing is integral to the band’s rhythm section, providing a steady yet inventive backbone to songs on their debut album, -!- (The Exclamation Album), and in live performances.
